CVE-2026-23988 2026-01-23 7.3 High
Rufus is a utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives. Versions 4.11 and below contain a race condition (TOCTOU) in src/net.c during the creation, validation, and execution of the Fido PowerShell script. Since Rufus runs with elevated privileges (Administrator) but writes the script to the %TEMP% directory (writeable by standard users) without locking the file, a local attacker can replace the legitimate script with a malicious one between the file write operation and the execution step. This allows arbitrary code execution with Administrator privileges. This issue has been fixed in version 4.12_BETA.
CVE-2025-4598 5 Debian, Linux, Oracle and 2 more 10 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Linux and 7 more 2026-01-23 4.7 Medium
A vulnerability was found in systemd-coredump. This flaw allows an attacker to force a SUID process to crash and replace it with a non-SUID binary to access the original's privileged process coredump, allowing the attacker to read sensitive data, such as /etc/shadow content, loaded by the original process. A SUID binary or process has a special type of permission, which allows the process to run with the file owner's permissions, regardless of the user executing the binary. This allows the process to access more restricted data than unprivileged users or processes would be able to. An attacker can leverage this flaw by forcing a SUID process to crash and force the Linux kernel to recycle the process PID before systemd-coredump can analyze the /proc/pid/auxv file. If the attacker wins the race condition, they gain access to the original's SUID process coredump file. They can read sensitive content loaded into memory by the original binary, affecting data confidentiality.
CVE-2024-36905 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-01-23 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: defer shutdown(SEND_SHUTDOWN) for TCP_SYN_RECV sockets TCP_SYN_RECV state is really special, it is only used by cross-syn connections, mostly used by fuzzers. In the following crash [1], syzbot managed to trigger a divide by zero in tcp_rcv_space_adjust() A socket makes the following state transitions, without ever calling tcp_init_transfer(), meaning tcp_init_buffer_space() is also not called. TCP_CLOSE connect() TCP_SYN_SENT TCP_SYN_RECV shutdown() -> tcp_shutdown(sk, SEND_SHUTDOWN) TCP_FIN_WAIT1 To fix this issue, change tcp_shutdown() to not perform a TCP_SYN_RECV -> TCP_FIN_WAIT1 transition, which makes no sense anyway. When tcp_rcv_state_process() later changes socket state from TCP_SYN_RECV to TCP_ESTABLISH, then look at sk->sk_shutdown to finally enter TCP_FIN_WAIT1 state, and send a FIN packet from a sane socket state. This means tcp_send_fin() can now be called from BH context, and must use GFP_ATOMIC allocations. CVE-2026-22281 2026-01-23 3.5 Low
Dell PowerScale OneFS, versions 9.5.0.0 through 9.5.1.5, versions 9.6.0.0 through 9.7.1.10, versions 9.8.0.0 through 9.10.1.3, versions starting from 9.11.0.0 and prior to 9.13.0.0, contains a Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with adjacent network access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service.
CVE-2026-1330 2026-01-22 7.5 High
MeetingHub developed by HAMASTAR Technology has an Arbitrary File Read vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit Absolute Path Traversal to download arbitrary system files.
CVE-2026-23950 1 Isaacs 1 Tar 2026-01-22 8.8 High
node-tar,a Tar for Node.js, has a race condition vulnerability in versions up to and including 7.5.3. This is due to an incomplete handling of Unicode path collisions in the `path-reservations` system. On case-insensitive or normalization-insensitive filesystems (such as macOS APFS, In which it has been tested), the library fails to lock colliding paths (e.g., `ß` and `ss`), allowing them to be processed in parallel. This bypasses the library's internal concurrency safeguards and permits Symlink Poisoning attacks via race conditions. The library uses a `PathReservations` system to ensure that metadata checks and file operations for the same path are serialized. This prevents race conditions where one entry might clobber another concurrently. This is a Race Condition which enables Arbitrary File Overwrite. This vulnerability affects users and systems using node-tar on macOS (APFS/HFS+). Because of using `NFD` Unicode normalization (in which `ß` and `ss` are different), conflicting paths do not have their order properly preserved under filesystems that ignore Unicode normalization (e.g., APFS (in which `ß` causes an inode collision with `ss`)). This enables an attacker to circumvent internal parallelization locks (`PathReservations`) using conflicting filenames within a malicious tar archive. The patch in version 7.5.4 updates `path-reservations.js` to use a normalization form that matches the target filesystem's behavior (e.g., `NFKD`), followed by first `toLocaleLowerCase('en')` and then `toLocaleUpperCase('en')`. As a workaround, users who cannot upgrade promptly, and who are programmatically using `node-tar` to extract arbitrary tarball data should filter out all `SymbolicLink` entries (as npm does) to defend against arbitrary file writes via this file system entry name collision issue.
CVE-2025-66803 1 Hotwired 1 Turbo 2026-01-22 4.8 Medium
Race condition in the turbo-frame element handler in Hotwired Turbo before 8.0.x causes logout operations to fail when delayed frame responses reapply session cookies after logout. This can be exploited by remote attackers via selective network delays (e.g. delaying requests based on sequence or timing) or by physically proximate attackers when the race condition occurs naturally on shared computers.
CVE-2026-1035 1 Redhat 4 Build Keycloak, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jbosseapxp and 1 more 2026-01-21 3.1 Low
A flaw was found in the Keycloak server during refresh token processing, specifically in the TokenManager class responsible for enforcing refresh token reuse policies. When strict refresh token rotation is enabled, the validation and update of refresh token usage are not performed atomically. This allows concurrent refresh requests to bypass single-use enforcement and issue multiple access tokens from the same refresh token. As a result, Keycloak’s refresh token rotation hardening can be undermined.
CVE-2025-15236 2 Quanta Computer, Quantatw 2 Qoca Aim Ai Medical Cloud Platform, Qoca Aim 2026-01-21 4.3 Medium
QOCA aim AI Medical Cloud Platform developed by Quanta Computer has a Path Traversal vulnerability, allowing authenticated remote attackers to read folder names under the specified path by exploiting an Absolute Path Traversal vulnerability.
CVE-2025-15237 2 Quanta Computer, Quantatw 2 Qoca Aim Ai Medical Cloud Platform, Qoca Aim 2026-01-21 4.3 Medium
QOCA aim AI Medical Cloud Platform developed by Quanta Computer has a Path Traversal vulnerability, allowing authenticated remote attackers to read folder names under the specified path by exploiting an Absolute Path Traversal vulnerability.
CVE-2026-22851 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-01-21 5.9 Medium
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.20.1, a race condition between the RDPGFX dynamic virtual channel thread and the SDL render thread leads to a heap use-after-free. Specifically, an escaped pointer to sdl->primary (SDL_Surface) is accessed after it has been freed during RDPGFX ResetGraphics handling. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.20.1.
